The port of Savona Vado (Vado Ligure) is located in Liguria (Italy’s North-West), in the Northernmost part of the Mediterranean Sea and close to the main European markets. Savona Vado, together with the neighbouring harbours of Genoa and La Spezia, is part of Ligurian Ports: one of the main port systems in the Mediterranean sea and an important trade channel for Southern Europe’s economy. Privately run port terminals can accommodate any kind of traffic, from cargo (containers, general cargo, dry and liquid bulk) to passengers (cruises and ferries).
